Field Hide App helps to hide the custom field fields based on simple rules without writing any script and JIRA configuration. User does not need to edit the existing field configuration. It hides the custom fields on create, edit, and view screen-based on the published rule.

Installation

1. Login as JIRA administrator. Go to -> Administration -> Manage apps -> Find new apps

2. Search “Field Hide“ and click “Install“

Configuration

Jira admin can configure export option in issue view and issue navigator for the hidden fields. It prevents user to export hidden fields value.
