Introduction
Field Hide App helps to hide the custom fields based on simple rules without writing any script and JIRA configuration. User does not need to edit the existing field configuration. It hides the custom fields on create, edit, and view screen-based on the published rule.
Installation
Login as JIRA administrator. Go to -> Administration -> Manage apps -> Find new apps
Search “Field Hide“ and click “Install“
Configuration
Jira admin can configure export option in issue view and issue navigator for the hidden fields. It prevents user to export hidden fields value.
Hide Custom Fields
Follow the below link to hide any custom fields base on user rules(groups/roles/users)
Make Read-Only Fields
Follow the below link to make read-only any custom fields base on user rules(groups/roles/users)
Hide Time Tracking
Follow the below link to hide time tracking information base on user rules(groups/roles/users)
Free Lite or Trial Version
Users can not publish more than 2 rules to hide custom fields. Please buy the “Field Hide” plugin to publish unlimited rules.
